Week 8 through to 10: The moving image
Here is my original video footage. I have uploaded this video with Microsoft and am not sure if it will work on a MAC.
I will put it into final cut pro, make it greyscale and add music in the background to add to the lost feel.

Week 7: Collage the Digital way
Here I created a collage of myself. I took a photo of myself, made it greyscale, cut it out and put it onto a vintage floral background.
As stated in my proposal however I will be cutting out images and making a digital collage on a matchbox.

Week 5: Experimenting with spot healing tool and content aware
Exercise 1: For this exercise I used the spot healing tool to remove blemishes on the right side of this face. I also used the eye dropper tool so I would have even colour across the face instead of one area being to light or dark. The use of the eye dropper tool also helped me to remove redness on the check and chin.
Exercise 2: For this exercise I worked with the content aware tool to remove the bird. My version of the photo is shown on the right.

Experimenting with layers in Photoshop
What I did to create this image:
- Created a new document and filled the background with a dull green colour.
- Created a new layer which I called 'Grass'. In this layer I selected the brush tool and in the brush's option bar I chose the Dune Grass brush. I then held down the mouse button to create a grass effect using different greens.
- I then created another layer called 'text' and in this layer I wrote out the word Lost. I then moved the 'text' layer in the middle of the background layer and the grass layer. This way the text is in front of the background but behind the grass.
- Next I created another layer called 'circle' which I placed under the grass and text layers. I then used the Elliptical tool to create a circle. Due to where I placed the 'circle' layer the green circle in the picture is in front of the background but behind the grass and text.
After this exercise I am interested to explore layers further. I am also more confident with using Photoshop.
